The role of the Strategic Executive Assistant is to simplify, organize the efforts, timing and activities of the CEO.   Advico is looking for an eager and driven administrator looking for a long-term career in an evolving and growing family owned and operated business.  ADVICO specializes in providing insurance and financial planning strategies for business owners, professionals and corporations and has carved out its niche in working with other professionals such as accountants and lawyers to build a comprehensive, sustainable plan for our clients.  The role of Strategic Executive Assistant will be primarily to support the role of the CEO / Senior Corporate Advisor, as well as support the advisors, administrative team and clients as needed within a high paced, evolving and dynamic environment.

Position Summary

  • Manage appointments, schedule meetings, maintain calendar and any day to day operational needs of the CEO/ Senior Corporate Advisor
  • Compile, edit any emails, files, documents as required
  • Maintain record of expenses in a timely manner
  • Support and assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s website, marketing and branding and promotional product
  • Support the Events Manager in any administrative duties as required
  • Provide support to reception staff in greeting public and clients, answering, screening and transferring incoming phone calls and emails –
  • Respond to routine inquiries
  • Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists and client information
  • Provide administrative support to advisors to support both new clients and In-force clients
  • Complete and process insurance documents
  • Professionally represent advisors to clients, business partners, and the community
  • Adhere to the highest level of integrity, ethical conduct and industry compliance regulations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


  • Business Administration education and experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365- Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of booking, accounting and familiarity with QuickBooks is an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, maintain discretion and respect confidentiality

This position is a paid salary position, offering up to full-time hours and includes benefits. Revenue sharing and incentive compensation will be considered based on experience.  Qualified applicants may submit their resume to
