The Opportunity:
As a Client Service Specialist, you would be accountable for providing a high level of client service and general administrative support to our corporate advisor team. Although this is not a sales position the expectation is that this individual will be client facing, able to prepare and present, and then follow through with client interactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong desire towards building a long-term career with ample opportunities for growth and advancement within the insurance and financial services industry. They should enjoy working both independently as well as in collaborative environments as a valued team member in a family-owned and operated business setting.
A Day in the Life:
· Complete needs analysis and risk assessment for clients in accordance with Advico policies and practices
· Complete and process insurance documents
· Prepare for client meetings, document preparation, and follow up in a timely manner
· Collect data, information and prepare all required documents for the bank and/or financial institution(s)
· Work collaboratively with industry partners, business partners and accountants in preparation for client meetings
· Respond to and investigate client’s questions and concerns resolve client complaints and escalate issues as appropriate.
· Provide sales support, client service, and general administrative duties
· Maintain client relationship management system and internal processes
· Establish a strong, positive and respectful relationship with the clients in order to build a level of trust and confidence in the abilities of the advisor and the company to meet all their future financial planning needs
· Advocate and professionally represent advisors to clients, business partners, and the community
· Adhere to the highest level of integrity, ethical conduct and industry compliance regulations
· Office role with travel as needed for client reviews
Skills / Qualifications:
· 4 years industry experience preferred
· LLQP life licensed
· Strong client focus and excellent interpersonal skills are required
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail
· Dynamic interpersonal, customer service, and written communication skills
· Understanding of advanced insurance concepts
· Previous banking experience is considered an asset
· Designations/Certifications are considered an asset (CFP, CLU, etc)
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365- Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
· Familiarity with Salesforce client relationship management (CRM) would be an asset
